Notified About

  • 1 Inchicore Road Dublin 8, Dublin - Dublin City
Outside the Hilton Hotel, Kilmainham, buses and taxis routinely block the contra flow cycle lane. A space was allocated for them on South Circular road when this development was planned but there does not appear to be any enforcement.
  • 34 Emmet Road Inchicore, Dublin 8, Co. Dublin, Ireland - Dublin City
While the building is a beautiful Art Deco building, there is a large flight of steps at the entrance. The library really should be modified to provide a ramp for access, and there is space for this.
  • Ballyfermot Road Dublin 10, County Dublin - Dublin City
Since the closure of Ballyfermot Library, a paltry service has been provided at the Civic Offices on Ballyfermot Road. The Library was originally beside the Ballyfermot College of Further Education behind Tesco's. It was closed for maintenance and has never opened back up. When can the residents of Ballyfermot expect the full service to be restored.
  • 726 South Circular Road Dublin, Ireland - Dublin City
There are no bicycle racks at all in Kilmainham village despite a very high cycling usage in the area.
There should be some placed near the shops on SCR at Eurosoar as there is a need for it there and lots of space on the pavement
  • James'S Walk Dublin, Ireland - Dublin City
Big ugly fence erected around a community garden site without consultation with the locals. Can fence be moved back a little for a wider footpath and some colour added?
  • 9-11 Grattan Crescent Kilmainham, Dublin, Ireland - Dublin City
The smart telecom phone box on Grattan Crescent in Inchicore is in very poor condition. It should be repaired or removed as it is unnecessary (eircom have a double booth a few metres away in front of the Village inn)
  • 1 Usher'S Island Dublin 8, Ireland - Dublin City
Georgian house was knocked down on the corner of Bridgefoot Street and Usher's Island. The site has just accumulated rubbish ever since
  • St Fintan'S Park Monkstown, Stillorgan, Co. Dublin, Ireland - Dun Laoighre Rathdown
Signs on both sides of Abbey Road have been turned to face the wrong way by the wind or vandals.
  • 1 Mourne Road Crumlin, Dublin, Co. Dublin, Ireland - Dublin City
A lot of plastic bags stuck on trees and rubbish in the river along the length of the park.
  • 44 Dolphin'S Barn Crumlin, Dublin 8, Ireland - Dublin City
Dumping (fly tipping) of household and other waste. This is a common occurrence
  • Booterstown Ave Booterstown, Stillorgan, Co. Dublin, Ireland - Dublin

At the N11 end, there is a speed limit sign (60 km/h for the N11) that is obscured by being behind a "no trucks sign" (for opposing traffic on the avenue)

The back of the speed limit sign also has a speed limit sign (again for opposing traffic).

None of the three signs can be read efficiently because of the clutter...

Perhaps a review is in order...

Each sign has a duplicate within meters of it's position.

  • Stillorgan Park Stillorgan, Co. Dublin, Ireland - Dun Laoighre Rathdown

On Stillorgan Park at the junction with the N11 there are two lanes of traffic:
The left lane is marked for left and foreward going traffic; the right lane for foreward and right going traffic...

...There is also a large sign on the grass verge that says you can turn right from the left lane (and not go straight from the right).

    Which is correct?

Most people follow the road markings, but occasionally someone turns right from the left causing mayhem...

    Please remove/amend/replace the sign.
