    The squatters continue to come and go from this garage and house. The white Subaru, which Shelby Lawson drives, has been there on multiple occasions. The bike and scooter guy, Hans Slay, was seen today riding onto the property and I to the garage.

    The garage door is open during the day and closed at night. Lights are on in the house.

    It is disturbing that the city notices that we're on the house and garage have been ripped down from the garage and several have been removed from the house.

    The City of Ypsilanti needs to take action to secure this house, garage and property from the inside and lock these trespassers out!

    When is the City of Ypsilanti going to address the issues at the house. This has been ongoing for well over two years!

    No electricity in the house,
    squatters living in the garage with no plumbing,
    Garbage everywhere and piled up for days at the curb,
    U.S. Marshalls busted down the garage door earlier this year,
    strangers coming and going day and night in and out of the garage,
    white Subaru with no plate and same paper tag for months

    These people do not belong here. The neighbors know some of the squatters by name. The person that lives in the house is not the owner and continually denied knowing anything about what is happening. The neighborhood is sick and tired of this nonsense.

    An actual response to any or all of these complaints would be a great place to start. Assigning these complaints to someone and seemingly no resolution ran it's course about 2 years ago.

    So, the last submission we made was closed, but the house and its situation are only getting worse. Substantial trash all over the property, people coming and going constantly, and the house seems to be being dismantled, the squatters have been taking everything out of it and taking down the fence, etc, but the owner seems to be missing. Would be great if the city secured the property. This is a health and safety issue.

    The crosswalk sign near YIES Elementary School has been covered up by someone who put up their “lost turtle sign”. This is a safety issue and should not be taped to a regulation crosswalk sign.

    Not sure if this qualifies as a zoning issue, but there is at least one rooster on this property that crows very loudly at very early hours, 4:30am this morning.

    The squatters at 718 Dwight removed the “Vacancy Order” that was affixed to the property by the city. The female and male squatters are there daily and drive a white Subaru. Please secure the property and repost the Vacancy Order to the doors of the property. Please enforce this order by putting measures in place to prevent the squatters from entering the property. They have learned that nobody is going to hold them accountable for violating the laws/ordinances.

    Is there any good reason why MDOT still has the big arrow sign/trailer (along with a bunch of barrels) blocking the right turn lane from EB Michigan to SB Hamilton? Seems to be just "mucking up" the traffic flow.

    Pedestrian crossing light looks like it was run over, which I'm sure y'all know. However just went past it and it still has power connected to it, which I'm guessing isn't safe. Crossing lights are still flashing in the cycle.
