  • 2nd St & Erie St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
Please consider adding a stop sign on Erie Street at 2nd Street, along with daylighting on Erie street at this intersection. Each stop along Erie from 1st to 12th street is controlled either via stop sign or traffic light, except for this intersection. Drivers will occasionally come to a stop while traveling along Erie street at this intersection as it is due to extremely limited visibility. Visibility is limited by cars parking on the eastern and western sides of Erie street up to the 2nd street crosswalk, and by a large tree and a power pole on the eastern side of Erie street just south of the 2nd Street intersection. In its current form, drivers and bikers along Erie Street cannot see pedestrians in the 2nd Street crosswalk until the pedestrians have already entered the roadway, pedestrians cannot see traffic on Erie Street at this intersection until they enter the roadway, and vehicles and bikes traveling west along 2nd Street must drive past their stop sign and pull onto Erie Street in order to visualize vehicles and bikes that may be traveling towards them along Erie Street.
  • 280-288 Ogden Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
This is getting absolutely ridiculous. Everyday there are children here playing with toys that were donated from other parents. Children playing in the park, this has to stop. Can we please get more signs made up that read NO Toys allowed... Im sure the Kids appreciate it, Thank you Rec Department and Lucinda for doing a great job in Advance.

60 Greene St Jersey City 07302, United States - The Waterfront
Construction is occurring on a Federal Holiday outside hours. Is this the way the City is protecting the quiet enjoyment of tax payers?
  • 323 York St Jersey City, New Jersey, 07302 - Downtown
Sidewalk regularly obstructed by this home owner/renters charging their electric cars while obstructing sidewalk in historic neighborhood
  • 425 Washington Blvd Jersey City, NJ, 07310, USA - The Waterfront
Why after over a year is the bike lane and side walk still closed to the public whose taxes paid for it!! In other cities sidewalk sheds are required it’s a disgrace that the bike lane and sidewalk are being used as a construction car park while the rest of JC residents are forced to pay for expensive car parking with the extreme lack of on street parking!!! I also see no permits displayed for partially closing the streets. When will the sidewalk and bike lane be reopened? There is a large amount of construction on Washington bvld with no respect for residents who is the city working for????
  • Baldwin Ave & Washburn St Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square

This is a formal request to study and implement the conversion of Baldwin Ave to a one-way street.

Baldwin Ave is an incredibly narrow road. It is very unsafe for both pedestrians and drivers, and due to its current design has caused vehicle crashes and pedestrian fatalities. In 2021, Mayor Fulop supported making Baldwin a one-way. It's time for the city to take action and evaluate making Baldwin a one-way. Making Baldwin Ave one-way would allow for:

    1. Increased pedestrian safety.
    2. Additional parking spaces and biking lanes for multimodal travel.
    3. Wider sidewalks.
    4. Reduced noise and air pollution.

  • 102 Colgate St Jersey City 07302, United States - Downtown

Multiple blocked crosswalks at school pickup time for an elementary school, PS5, where the vast majority walk.

All of these curbs were redone within the last 2 years but none with curb extensions. The kids need protection from the minority of parents who drive for drop off/pickup.

  • 300 Barrow St Jersey City, New Jersey, 07302 - Downtown
Please see the leader pipe to the left on this photo. This is the leader pipe on 300 Barrow Street at the back of the building. I own the building on the right which is 302 Barrow Street. The leader pipe at 300 Barrow is technically on my building and I want it removed from my building. They do not have it set up correctly and there are huge gaping holes around the drain and the landlord won't fix it. They just throw tar at it and this does not work. Water is running into my building behind the wall and doing damage to my walls and windows from the top floor all the way down 4 stories and causing water in basement. I have asked them repeatedly to correct this. How do I get this off on my building? It is causing structural damage to my building.
  • 605 Pavonia Ave Jersey City, New Jersey, 07306 - Journal Square
Are there rent stabilized units in the Journal Squared building?
  • 153 Christopher Columbus Dr Jersey City 07302, United States - Downtown
If you’ve filing complaints against landlords for failure to do repair’s unsanitary conditions or other egregious issues which are still not fixed your case was likely dismissed by the prosecutors (Jake Hudnut) office. Since 2018 I’ve filed over 20 complaints for egregious issues like fire code, illegal construction, infestations, building code. Every time an inspector comes they fine the landlord through multiple inspections but Jake Hudnut’s office drops the fines. Because of this landlords in the area know Jake is their guy and they are safe we are not safe though. You can goor search for the NJ municipal court portal and put your landlord in the defendant section to see if Jakes office has dismissed your complaints too. We need a real prosecutor who protects more than the slumlords of Jersey City.
  • 158 Christopher Columbus Dr Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
HI there. Is there a way to either a) trim the trees and b) replace the lights around the block from the empty laundry mat to the back area of K9dergarten so no one can gather there to "stop and cop" 24/7, hanging around on the public street and making loud noises almost every day and night? It has becoming a nuisance that this specific group of people would sell drugs and create an unsafe environment in downtown Jersey City, and being disrespectful to the residents in this area who are actually paying rents and mortgages. Thank you so much for listening and hopefully you can provide some solutions to this ongoing problem.
  • Leonard Gordon Park - The Heights
Tons of poop in the dog run. Not sure if the bags need refilling but The dog run is not usable for responsible owners. It’s full of sharp stones and feces. With all the tax increases it would be nice to be able to use the public spaces
