Frequent area in the park that has construction debris and trash dumped

Notified About

  • 10800 Skyline Blvd Oakland, California, 94619 - Joaquin Miller Park
Wood, mirror glass, and composite board dumped near trailhead to Sequoia Bayview Trail. Additionally (and probably related), there is a large amount of broken glass on the shoulder and in the roadway itself.
  • Joaquin Miller Park Oakland CA 94619, United States - Joaquin Miller Park
Lots of litter, cut flowers, food items, empty beverage containers, etc. scattered under trees and all over hillside. The age and type of trash indicates this is an area used frequently and recurrently. There is also evidence of fires and candles being used.
  • Oakland Ca 94602 United States - Joaquin Miller Park
Three men drinking beer, breaking glass bottles, and sitting upon a large load of newly dumped household waste (mattresses, furniture, electronics) at Sequoia Point in Joaquin Miller Park. They were sitting behind a Black Nissan sedan license plate: 8TEL920.
Perhaps the three men are working with a truck driver that delivered the waste to the site (and we're waiting for the next load)?
They were drinking "Famosa" beer and breaking the bottles on the ground. The young man in the black baseball hat threatened me when I took pictures of the mess.
