    It looks like much of the hydro seeding for the new park,being built at Swamp Locks, was washed away in the big rain storm on Wednesday/Thursday. In places the hydro seeding has washed down onto the walk ways and there are large patches of uncovered earth.

    I know that this is not a tree issue per se and that this type of issue may not be the highest priority, but I have had issues on the same stretch of sidewalk before and nothing was done about it. There are vines and other plants that are FULLY blocking the sidewalk on Walker Street in front of the MFA. This may not be a high rent neighborhood, but ALL problems should be addressed and not just placed in the circular file. The summer is almost over. Last winter MFA did not shovel the same stretch of sidewalk which I reported and there was no response from the city on the issue.

    I hope that Lowell has not signed off yet on the Westford St. Paving project yet. There is a lunate shaped blob of Macadam/asphalt on the north side of Westford St. just before Gates St when heading westbound. It seems to be just out of the driving lane, but I have have gone over it with my bike.

    There is graffiti all over the steps at the mouth of the spill way. I know that this was reported and that it was marked for removal sometime in September. That was quite awhile ago and long past the 1-14 day period mentioned. It might be new graffiti but it should be cleaned up.
