The steel plate in the sidewalk located next to the traffic light pole at the southwest corner of Park St and South St has been perforated by rust. The entire plate appears to be weakened from both the rust and wear. It looks like the hole could become much larger if any appreciable weight is put on the plate.

Three of the six DONT WALK lights located at the intersection of Park St and South St do not light up when it is unsafe to walk.

    Specifically, the failed lights are:
    1. South facing DONT WALK light on northwest corner
    2. East facing DONT WALK light on northwest corner
    3. North facing DONT WALK light on southwest corner

South facing DONT WALK light located at northwest corner of Park St and South St does not light up when it is unsafe to walk.

This is the same DONT WALK light that failed twice in 2015 (once in early 2015 and again in October 2015 (SeeClickFix issue 1984248). Maybe it is time to stop using dollar store replacement bulbs? :-)

Beginning at the Green Mountain Power Plant driveway on Route 2A and walking south towards the Winooski River bridge, there are 4 street lights in a row that are out (see yellow arrows on attached image).

It is hazardous to walk this section of side walk at night with reduced visibility from poor lighting.
