Garbage blowing all over yard.

Bags of garbage pilled in the driveway (not anywhere near the curb for Thursday pick up). Recurring problem with this property. They have been notified multiple times of when collection is, and how to appropriately store garbage.

Zoning for Buena Vida required lots to be a certain size so that there weren't too many dwellings per acre. This is why zoning did not permit Buena Vida to be platted for town homes. Property owner is building 2 dwellings on a single lot. Is this allowed? It doesn't seem to mesh with the idea of single family zoning. Or is this a new way to get around the 4 unrelated rule?

Smoker on a trailer has been parked on the sidewalk for several weeks.

A bus for Greens Prairie Elementary drives the entire length of Keefer Loop twice daily. When cars are parked illegally in the Fire Lane, the bus cannot get through. A Special Needs bus for Greens Prairie Elementary travels the length of the Toni Court cul-de-sac at 11:30 am weekdays. When cars are illegally parked in the Fire Lane, the bus cannot get through or turn around in the cul-de-sac. Due to the disabilities and ages of the riders, this bus takes the children to their homes, not a bus stop.

We are pleading with CSPD and CSFD to strictly, aggressively, and consistently enforce these Fire Lanes by ticketing and towing (the signs state that it is a Tow Away Zone).

We have many new renters on Toni and Keefer. They don't seem to understand NO PARKING signs. Police will probably need to step up patrols, especially overnight. Thanks!

Yard is starting to compete with the highways minus the pretty bluebonnets.

Either drunken vandals knocked down or a drunk driver drove over the newly installed speed limit sign on Keefer Loop (Buena Vida portion of Keefer).

When replacing the sign, I hope the city will consider that 30 mph is rather fast for a residential street. 20 mph is a more common and acceptable speed considering the number of driveways, cars parked on one side of the street, children playing in the area, joggers, pets without leashes, etc.

Time to mow those yards! Buena Vida's weeds are quite glorious these days.

It's Spring, and the property owners need a yearly reminder to start mowing again!

Deacon was resurfaced, but lanes were not painted.

Commercial Trailer parked on site for weeks.

The white stone/bricks of the home have the F word painted on them. The fence has the B word painted on it, misspelled of course.

Rock Prairie West was resurfaced months ago, but no one returned to paint lane markings. Also, since this road is in city limits (and has been for quite some time), when will it be widened to accommodate development? The rest of Rock Prairie has multiple lanes, curbs, medians with landscaping, sidewalks, etc. Traffic, along with pedestrians and bicyclists, have increased over the years. We'd like to see a proactive plan to address the growth in this area.

The resident leaves out 2 metal trash cans on the curb and NEVER brings them in. They are sometimes hit by cars and the garbage spills in the road. It is not cleaned up. The City does not collect from these types of cans. I observed the non-automatic garbage truck today. The driver paused, looked at the cans, and drove on.

These cans are on the side of the house at 3420 Cullen (it is a corner lot).

I'm not sure why the last report was archived before it was even resolved. I can make new reports regularly if needed.

These vacant lots are overgrown. There is a broken desk and bags of garbage dumped on the lot. In addition, piles of construction material were dumped there at least a year ago.

The claim is that construction will start soon. We've been hearing that for quite a while. There are no construction permits posted on the property. Besides, I'm not sure why a builder would need bags of trash and broken furniture to build, but maybe that speaks to the quality of construction. Regardless, these are code violations.

The vacant lots on Keefer have broken desks dumped on them.

The lot where a foundation form was built a year ago has weeds the size of small trees inside the form.

Either residents of The Barracks or the house next to the vacant lots have created a mud road driving across the lot. Trucks frequently park on the lot.

Thanks for staying on top of this neighborhood. The general appearance of the neighborhood has improved.
