The pedestrian crosswalk across Michigan Avenue at Van Buren on the north side of the intersection is dangerous. Cars that are westbound coming down the ramp from East Congress Parkway do not understand that when they make the slight right onto northbound Michigan Avenue that this is a right turn and that pedestrians have the right of way. Drivers often do not yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk, even when the "walk" light is activated.
