    I live at North Quarter North Condo Unit1 16. There was a leak in unity 216 resulting in my bath room being flooded and damaged. I filed the insurance claims. The repair was made by a plumber, however, the new drain upstairs goes through a cement fire wall to the common space. This area has not been sealed up to code. No fire putty or pipe sheathing as is code. In fact the owner did not use a licensed plumber. While i’m unsure who is responsible for this, I do know I can’t proceed with repairs until this is addressed. It’s a fire and rodent hazard. The fact that our emergency fire exits have been locked closed, I’m very concerned of the air flow between firewalls of the two floors will feed a possible contained fire O2 and spread quickly. And I have no close exit. It seems the hole has been filled with Plastic Bubble wrap and feel that would not meet code guild-lines.
