Big bag of trash on Oakland Mills Road (north) at intersection with Homespun Drive is creating a hazard drivers are trying to go around.
  • 9429 Kilimanjaro Rd Columbia MD 21045, United States - Columbia
Drivers traveling east on Kilimanjaro cannot see the 25 mph speed sign until they are right next to it due to the tree in front of it. This means the only speed sign for drivers going east on Kilimanjaro is the one very near the intersection at Steven's Forest Rd. With all the Blandair and other sports events traffic on Kilimanjaro and use of Kilimanjaro as a cut-through to Oakland Mills Road, a visible speed sign is necessary at this spot. Thank you.

Used to be a yield sign at intersection of Tamar and Old Montgomery Road. It told Tamar drivers coming from direction of Rt. 175 and turning right onto Old Montgomery that drivers on the other side of Tamar making the left turn onto Old Montgomery had the right of way. The sign is gone so drivers are confused about who has the right of way. If the removal was intentional, then remove the sign posts too so people do not assume the sign is simply missing.
  • Broken Land Pkwy Columbia 21044, United States - Columbia
The no-U-turn sign has been on the ground in the median for several weeks. Cars heading east on Broken Land Parkway have stopped there and waited to turn around on nights when there are MPP concerts.

Flashing school zone lights do not turn on during school hours. This is the sign between the high and middle schools on the same side of the street as the schools.

This is a pothole that has been filled a few times in the past few years. It's in the right lane of Broken Land Parkway going towards Little Patuxent Parkway just as the entrance lane from Rt. 29N appears on the right. It's a deep pothole.

Thank you for putting the pedestrian crosswalk sign at corner of Macomber and Kilimanjaro. Unfortunately it did not last. Someone hit/ran over sign and now it is on the side of the road. Need to measure average speed on Kilimanjaro because it is not 25 mph. If we had digital display signs like they do in other neighborhoods (Dorsey's Search for example), that would slow down some of the cars. Transit buses rarely go speed limit. There are a lot of walking students for all three neighborhood schools.

Missing speed limit sign for several months. Compare number of speed limit signs on Kilimanjaro going from Stevens Forest Rd to Oakland Mills Rd to number going other way. Also - pedestrian walkway middle-of-road sign in front of high school removed two winters ago for seasonal snow plowing and never replaced. It did a great job of slowing down the numerous speeding vehicles, including public transit buses.
