Directly at the corner there is a large piece of concrete with a two or 3 foot piece of rebar stretching horizontally out from it like a tripwire. I got off a bus right in front of it and narrowly escaped tripping on it and falling directly on my face. This same obstacle would also trip people who are crossing Howell Mill Road.
  • 50 Auburn Ave Ne Atlanta, GA 30303, USA - Five Points
Fire hydrant on Auburn Avenue seems OK but the sidewalk all around it is completely busted. Almost looks like someone was trying to pull the hydrant out of the ground.
  • 99 Auburn Ave Ne Atlanta, GA 30303, USA - Five Points
Utility cover with live wires inside it is half broken open and the sidewalk around it it's missing a whole bunch of tiles.
  • 25 Peachtree St Sw Atlanta, GA 30303, USA - Downtown
A public trashcan was removed from the sidewalk but the big screw that kept it attached was left behind. There is now a screw between 2 and 3 inches long sticking up from the sidewalk. It seems likely someone is either going to trip over or it or step on it and injure themselves.
  • 60 Luckie St Nw Atlanta, GA 30303, USA - Downtown
The pedestrian cross light on Luckie St. (Southeast corner) between the Equitable Building and the Aderhold (GSU) never switches to give the pedestrian the right of way, no matter how long the pedestrian waits or if they have pushed the button. You can wait two cycles, three cycles, and the cross signal never comes on. I would like this fixed, rather than just crossing when I think it's OK to cross.
  • 12-116 Williams St Nw Atlanta, GA 30303, USA - Downtown
One block portion of Williams St. was "milled" A couple of years ago in preparation for repaving, but the work is never done. As a result, the street is extremely rough, there are potholes in it, and it is hazardous to cars driving on it. I think it's been like this for about two years.
  • 63 Auburn Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA 30303, USA - Five Points
Sidewalk caving in around utility covers.. Hexagonal paving stones missing all over the place, with caverns forming. Major tripping hazard.
  • 63 Auburn Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA 30303, USA - Five Points
Tree is gone, grate is breaking apart, collecting trash, presents place for rats to live. Just saw several in fact. Also tripping hazard.
  • 63 Auburn Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA 30303, USA - Five Points
Square hole left from where tree was growing is at least a foot deep and presents tripping/injury hazard.
  • 145 Auburn Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA 30303, USA - Five Points
Hexagonal paving stones missing all over the place, right on frequently walked sidewalk with shops. Major tripping hazard.
  • 1821-1857 Clifton Road Atlanta, GA 30329, USA - North Druid Hills

A tree branch is hanging over the sidewalk. It's still attached to a tree. Needs to be cut, as it's obstructing walking.

(P.S. Thanks for removing nearby dead tree last week.)

  • 56 Marietta Street Northwest Atlanta, GA 30303, USA - Downtown
Fire hydrant has been knocked off the base for a couple weeks. Water leaking. Not functional.
  • 1831-1835 Briarcliff Road Northeast Atlanta, GA 30329, USA - North Druid Hills
There is a dead tree that is leaning towards the road and looks like it could fall right onto the street at any moment.
  • 51-59 Auburn Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA 30303, USA - Five Points
This sidewalk, which was recently repaired, is caving in again. Tiles are falling in. A major tripping hazard. One of the areas was recently repaired. The other area is new.
  • Georgia USA - Five Points
Large construction sign between Residence Inn and Mitchell Square fountain is blocking sidewalk. People on foot can maneuver around it but not anyone in a wheelchair. Even temporarily, it's a problem.
  • 51 Peachtree Center Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA 30303, USA - Five Points
Utility cover is busted and presents pedestrian hazard. Very easy to walk into the hole and trip, break an ankle, etc.
  • 51-59 Auburn Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA 30303, USA - Five Points
Hexagonal pavers the sidewalk have become very uneven and in a couple places have buckled and caved in. One of these cave-ins constitutes a pretty major tripping hazard. I know there is streetcar work going on right next to this sidewalk but I do hope that the issue is fixed so it does not become worse.

  • 1438-1440 Clifton Road Northeast Emory University, Atlanta, GA 30329, USA - Druid Hills
Recently a large pothole appeared on Clifton Road at the intersection with Haygood Drive / Asbury Circle. It's at the side of the road, directly in front of a MARTA bus shelter. Buses as well as cars and trucks are having trouble negotiating the hole, which is growing.
  • 141-199 Cone Street Northwest Atlanta, GA 30303, USA - Downtown
Two days ago during heavy rainfall I noticed that Williams Street where it meets Cone Street was under about 10 inches of water. I investigated and it appeared that no water was going down the drain next to the parking garage. The drain across the street were functioning fine but on the eastern side by the parking garage the puddle was enormous. The street is beginning to buckle from constant water damage of this type. It was also very difficult to cross the street or drive through the puddle because it was so deep.
