The turnaround space at the intersection of Leona/Walter still hasn't been plowed by the smaller trucks, 5 days after the storm The road plow did a half-done job with the large plow but there's still 3-5 feet of unplowed snow and snow walls making it hard to use to turn if people are parking in the edge of the cleared area xu-

I just saw a semi truck turning right from southbound Maple to westbound Dexter sideswipe the pedestrian walk light on the northwest corner of the intersection Pole moved quite a bit and is now leaning slightly No idea if it is functionally affected or not

The variable 40/25 speed limit sign (EB Fuller Rd by Huron Highschool) starts flashing if you drive exactly 40 mph, effectively causing it to "flash", which is the same signal as is used to indicate that the speed limit is now only 25mph
This did not used to be the case And the same light that is used to indicate if the speed limit is 25 or 40 cannot be used to warn for "driving too fast" especially since it could trigger on the car behind you and this thus technically lower the speed limit to 25 when when it should be 40

Traffic light timing needs to be adjusted Eastbound from Dexter Rd is only green for 8 seconds in the afternoon That is enough for 3 average responsive cars or one city bus only

The crosswalk light is completely covered by the Detour sign There is no way for pedestrians crossing northbound to know when they can walk or not Saw several people walk straight out in front of cars!

Branch fell down onto south side sidewalk of Haisley Elementary School Parking lot. Also, some nearby branches having very low over the sidewalk.

This morning two tree-maintenance trucks drove past my house fairly fast and a large tree-trimming-saw-on-a-pole (don’t know the name) fell off into the street. I lifted it onto my easement.
Only I saw the back of the yellow trucks so not sure they are the city’s, but if they are, they might want to come by and collect their tool...

No recycling pickup today. Trash was collected, but not recycling.

Recycle truck missed all recycle bins along Leona Dr and possible the whole neighborhood

Only half the contents of my compost bin was emptied. It is still half full.

The signal doesn’t always detect vehicles coming eastbound on Dexter and waiting to turn left onto Maple (northbound). Sometimes, it goes multiple cycles before someone turns up behind you and the light finally triggers.

Deep 1ft wide pothole in the middle of the road

The intersection of Walter and Leona is an accident waiting to happen. The street was covered in black ice before the recent snowfall and the turn is extremely slippery. About every other car is coming into the curve with way too high speed (albeit way below speed limit) and starts skidding. We have seen multiple cars coming to a stop sideways towards our curb, and today one even drove straight up past the sidewalk onto our front yard before they could come to a stop. If there had been cars parked or walkers nearby it could have gone really bad.

Considering the amount of foot walk and dropoff/pickup traffic from the adjacent Haisley elementary school, this corner needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

Introduce right turning lane.
With N Maple now being converted to a single lane in each direction, please convert the rightmost of the northbound lanes before the Dexter intersection into a right-turn lane. This will allow vehicles to start aligning in single file in the long stretch of road between Vets Park and Dexter Rd, long before the intersection, instead of having two full lines of cars trying to weave together in 15 yards just after. This will improve traffic flow and decrease incidents and irritations.

Create a right turn lane.
Now that N Maple is converted into only one lane in each direction, please convert the rightmost of the northbound lanes before the Dexter Rd intersection into a right turn only lane.
This will allow vehicles to use the full stretch of road between Vets Park and Dexter Rd to arrange into one lane, instead of trying to merge in the 15 yards just past the intersection, causing irritations and incidents. This would also improve traffic flow as the slower right turn vehicles would not impede cars going straight.

Although the main road has been cleared, the corner of Leona Dr / Walter Dr is a turning circle and the turning area is yet to be cleared. The AVL Snow plow tracking shows "100% complete" in the neighborhood, but several cars per day trying to use the turning area to turn around keep getting stuck.

Eastbound Miller is in such bad condition at this spot that people are making unsafe passes into the wrong lane to avoid it. This will not survive winter and ploughs.
