Sidewalk issue at Packard Square Archived2500 Packard Street Ann Arbor, Michigan - Ann ArborSidewalk has been undermined by erosion. Construction fence and temporary wooden fence footings eroded away. Approx. three foot deep drop off edge of sidewalk. Construction super is David Myers from Quandel. Developer is Craig Schubiner, 248.613.1777. Sidewalk should be closed as a safety hazard ASAP to allow on-site construction crew to erect a suitable structure.

326 Maynard Ann Arbor, Michigan - Ann ArborThere is a small storm inlet inset into the sidewalk in front of 326 Maynard, which would appear to drain to the storm drain. That small inlet is plugged with dirt and debris, and as a result, the meltwater from the sidewalk pools on the sidewalk and can freeze after a thaw, causing a slip and fall hazard.

The agenda for the March 2 VOAC meeting has not been posted, and it was only noticed on March 1.
The published notice states that it takes two business days to obtain accommodations for those with hearing impairments, and thus the published notice suggests that no accommodations for the hearing impaired will be available.
Public notice of a public meeting on such incredibly short notice does not lead to good government. Please endeavor to provide public notices of these meetings well in advance, preferably by end of day Friday for meetings for the following week, to allow time to plan and schedule attendance. Please also provide agendas in Legistar on Friday for meetings for the following week, a custom that is generally but not uniformly adhered to.

Sidewalk red bump markings worn away Archived301-327 West Liberty Street Ann Arbor, Michigan - Ann ArborThere are red bumpy ADA warning strips at the crosswalk where Liberty Street crosses the Ann Arbor Railroad. The warning strips are largely worn away (though there are little remnants of them). I don't know if this is the city's responsibility or if it's the railroad's responsibility.
