    This is the second major wreck at the intersection of Spruce St/7th Ave and Park Blvd in six days. There are way too many people speeding at often more than 2x the posted speed limit of 25 mph down lower Park Blvd, and many of these drivers also cross the double yellow lane into oncoming traffic along the curves and then drive through red lights. Please, please, PLEASE implement regular traffic enforcement along lower Park Blvd (at least upper Park Blvd has a median) as well as a high visibility enforcement operation. People are being injured and someone could easily die, and the City has done nothing to combat this problem in the 9+ years I've lived at this corner.

    This car was previously reported abandoned as case number 5618438. The car was abandoned, without plates, on Ivy Drive closer to 8th Avenue and a woman was photographed scraping the abandoned vehicle notice off the window. The car was later towed or removed by the owner and has now reappeared down the block near Booker Street. It has been there for a week.

    I was crossing the street and tripped due to the abysmally awful quality of the street in front of my building. See attached picture. The asphalt is so worn away that you can see the dirt underneath. I fell and was unable to get up for several minutes due to my injuries. Luckily, my neighbors are great and came running when they saw what happened. Please contact me about my medical bills.

    Lots of people have been posting here, asking you to fix the terrible and terribly dangerous transition here from the street to the overpass. CalTrans has confirmed that it is in the City's jurisdiction. Someone is going to pop a tire, bust a rim, and cause an accident sooner or later. Please fix this!!!

    I've reported this before and you said it was addressed, when no work was performed. I also reported it to CalTrans, which replied that this is a City of Oakland issue. The transition from Lake Park going north onto the overpass needs to be repaired. The street is a few inches lower than the overpass. Someone is going to pop a tire, bend a wheel, or worse, hitting this transition going too fast. I have to slow to 5-10 mph to avoid damaging my car every time I drive over this overpass. Please actually fix it this time.

    The transition from Lake Park going north onto the freeway overpass needs to be repaired. Cars approaching the uneven transition at the speed limit of 30 mph could risk broken wheels and/or ruined tires.

    Sensor for cross traffic is broken. Cars attempting to go straight from 7th Avenue to Spruce or to turn left onto Park Boulevard do not trigger the sensor to change the traffic light. As a result, some cars run the red light or are forced to turn around.

    This Mazda has parked illegally in the vicinity of Ivy, Booker, and 7th Ave on multiple occasions. Where it is currently parked, it is creating a traffic hazard by blocking the view of 7th Ave from the traffic circle at 7th and Ivy.

    There are several bad potholes on this street; they seem to be concentrated toward the 7th Avenue end of the block. The City sent a contractor in to repair one of the worst of the potholes, but the hole wasn't first cleaned out of debris and loose dirt, nor was the asphalt sufficiently pressed into place. The result is that the "repair" is rapidly falling apart and little bits of asphalt break away and hit cars and pedestrians every time someone drives over the "repair." Please have this and future potholes repaired PROPERLY. Thank you.
