The maintenance dept. Person said the clay sewer pipe is broken and they will come back to repair it. Why have you closed my initial request to repair the sink hole? The sewer pipes under the street are owned by the city of Alameda. If the pipe is broken is sewage continuing to leave the pipe and further undermine the street? This is a big problem!!!!

Our street has major drainage problems as in it does not drain into the sewer. This is a picture of the “lake” in front of my driveway. There is always standing water, run-off from rain, sprinklers, and sump pump. This water is a feeding ground for mosquitos. The entire street has been damaged by tree roots and is not appropriately graded to drain. We need work on creating a drainage system that keeps water from pooling and becoming stagnant pools.

There is standing water in the street up and down Gibbons that never drains. The Street needs to be regarded and more frequent storm drains installed to avoid all the standing stagnant water.
