    Please advise of what the protocol is to have my brand new walk way repaired by the city. The attached image is the result of no less than 4 incidents where the snowplow recklessly overshot the sidewalk, slammed into my new walkway which was poured last Summer.

    As a citizen and a taxpayer, I am very disappointed in the carelessness of the snow removal and salting operations this winter. See the attached pictures of the results of the operations yesterday when the sidewalks were clear and the trucks drove half a foot onto everyone's lawn. These trenches will now become saturated with water and be a eyesore for the remainder of spring until the city comes and fills them with new earth and re seed. Very disappointing. We deserve better than this. This trench is all the way down Merton. Who thinks this is acceptable?

    How is it possible that street like Baily and Robinson are cleaned on both sides including their sidewalks when Merton Street which is used by school kids, a secondary fire road and two ways of traffic is not even cleared. The sidewalks are not cleared on either side and there are massive snow banks not allowing parents from Merton school to park or for kids to walk on the sidewalk. Simply not acceptable.

    The hinged crosswalk pylons remain unfixed. 12 were installed in front of Merton school and half of them have been ripped out by snow plows and cars over time and never fixed. This very same issue was reported two times and never fixed: February of 2014 and again in June 2015. They have never been fixed. Please replace them before the start of the school year. Thank you.

    Lake Merton: after heavy rain and during the Spring thaw, large amounts of water accumulate in front of my house where new sidewalks and asphalt were placed this Summer. Some additional grading of the road slope is required to prevent premature breaking of the sidewalk and deterioration of the road.
