    Drug usage witnessed on 3/27/24. One man having a psychotic episode caused me to step into Telegraph during rush hour traffic Another man had his pants down to his ankle exposing himself while shooting drugs. I have been in contact with Dan Kalb's office re this encampment (and others in Idora Park). They indicate the Homeless Division considers this particular location a tidy encampment compared to other places in Oakland and because of lack of shelter beds nothing can be done. They offered to organize a neighborhood clean up sponsored by Kalb.

    We now have homeless encampments on 3 out of 4 corners of 56th and Telegraph, growing daily in size. This is in addition to encampments at Telegraph and Racine and next to Clars Auction. Please provide services immediately to address this matter.

    I reported this on 2/9/24. City of Oakland issued ticket # 1380342 which was closed on 2/11/24 saying the issue was resolved This is not the case as the debris is still there. Why was the issue closed? Please do your damn job . It takes a lot of effort for those of us who care about this city to continue having to submit tickets.
