    Rain is washing out the gravel base beneath the street in front of 1 Cobb Terrace. It has eroded significantly over the past few weeks and is at risk of collapse if ignored.

    This is the lowest part of the street, so all water in the area flows down it and then over the dirt roadside. The gravel base is already washing away, so the pavement will start cracking soon.

    There needs to be a retaining wall and gutter installed ASAP. To paraphrase Benjamin Franklin, it's a lot cheaper to prevent a disaster than to clean up after one...
