Why isn't someone with the City of Quincy getting on National Grid's case to have this street light fixed? This area is pitch dark and there is a lot of foot traffic from residents walking to and from Big Y.
  • 73 Freedom Trail Boston, Massachusetts - Central
This section of the Freedom Trail is in front of a public space (Granary Buring Ground, therefore no private businesses to do a proper job of clearing snow and ice) has many patches of ice that needs to be removed. We can't expect the "current residents" to remove snow and ice, now can we?

this issue was reported on 12/13/17 and no one from TPL has bothered to come out and fix it. What is Mike Coffey doing to earn his salary? Not much judging by this as well as his silence on the impending traffic disaster known as the Wollaston Station closure

As the video indicates drivers completely ignore both stop signs pedestrians need crosswalks to safely cross Hancock and Derbe streets also need to repaint crosswalks along myrtle st

  • 22-26 Linden Street Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
Many potholes on Linden St. that need to be filled. People have tripped and injured themselves.

The Weston Ave. access point to the MBTA Wollaston station parking lot is locked for a reason. When this gate was installed it was to be available only for emergency purposes and NOT for the convenience of LMH personnel. The gate actually replaced a barricade which could not be opened (it was a series of empty oil drums, chain links and metal posts installed across the sidewalks (you can still see one of the posts now corroding along the fence bordering the Wollaston Child Care Center – the posts were removed about six years ago).

LMH personnel have cut the chain (the locked padlock is on the chain. As a result anyone can swing the gate open on to Weston Ave./Wayland St. and impede motor vehicles.

The Weston Ave entrance borders the Wollaston Child Care Center on Weston Ave. It is not appropriate for construction vehicles or even personal motor vehicles to be entering and exiting through this access point.

Will the MBTA be liable should someone be struck by this gate? After all, the MBTA is so concerned about customer safety which is their excuse to close Wollaston Station for two years.

Please close and lock this gate and instruct LMH personnel that this gate is only for emergency purposes. Period.

  • Water Street And Quincy Ave. Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
While there is a signal button to press so that a pedestrian can safely cross Water Street at the intersection with Quincy Ave., heading south, there is no signal button to press in order for a pedestrian to safely cross Water St. heading back toward Hancock Street. There is only a signal button to press for a pedestrian to safely cross Quincy Ave.

Another case of snow amnesia. The storm drains in the Wollaston T Station parking lot never move and yet the snow removal crew always forget to clear them so that when the snow melts the water run off has some place to go besides creating small ponds for residents to slosh through.
  • 73 Freedom Trail Boston, Massachusetts - Central
The fire hydrant in front of Granary Burial Ground is covered in snow. Also the hydrant in front of 73 Tremont also needs to be completely cleared of snow so if firefighters should need to access it clearing the snow away will slow them down.
  • 85 Tremont Street Boston, Massachusetts - Central
Granary Burial Ground is full, so please shovel and sand the sidewalk that runs along side it so no one is seriously injured. Thanks!
  • Snow Plowing Acknowledged
511r Hancock Street Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
It seems to be an annual plea, whenever the snow falls whoever is operating the snow plow operations ignores the safety of customers (especially seniors from Fenno House) trying to reach Big Y and Rite Aid safely. Please do your job and make the path safe for customers.

The MBTA has forgotten to finish shoveling the platform, forgotten to shovel sidewalks on their property, forgotten to shovel sidewalks abutting their property. Then there is the issue of "SnowmansLand" the area that plows ignore and shovelers ignore but yet pedestrians are expected to climb or step over to get between the parking lot and the sidewalk. Can you say lawsuit waiting to happen? I'll be happy to hand over my photos to anyone filing a claim for personal injury.
  • 307-311 Newport Ave. Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
The fire occurred in Nov. 2015, the plywood covering one window is resting on the roof. Just need a strong gust of wind to cause it to fly over and land on an unsuspecting motorist or pedestrian. If the building owner cannot repair the building then they should sell it.
  • Weston Ave Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
Extra Space Storage does not shovel or sand its sidewalks, so pedestrians have to walk in the street. But the streets weren't completely plowed and now we have to walk on packed snow AKA ICE and there is no sign of any sanding going on. Please please please clear and sand the street -- no one wants to fracture a hip!

I am writing to you about the ongoing work on Beacon Street. The noise is really disruptive for folks (and making my boss very very grumpy) in the office buildings surrounding the work site. I'm sure the guests at XV Beacon Hotel had no idea what they were getting when they booked their hotel reservations. When is it scheduled to end? I tried to submit a question on the Boston Water & Sewer website but it doesn't work either on Chrome or Internet Explorer
