English Language Center - Elc Boston 11 Beacon Street, Boston, MA 02114, United States of America - Central
In front of Wollaston station shuttle stop at Hancock and woodbine.
  • 552 Hancock Street Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
Missing cover for pipe in street.
  • Potholes Acknowledged
54-98 Berlin Street Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
this pothole is a tripping hazard for pedestrians at the intersection of Berlin and Linden.
  • 1250 Hancock Street Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
This Hawk signal system is incredibly unhelpful. As a pedestrian, you are left waiting and waiting and waiting for 1 turn to walk while there is no oncoming traffic. Pedestrians must be first priority and not last.
  • 300-346 Congress Street Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
Having sidewalks imply that this area anticipates pedestrians walking on said sidewalks and yet they do not offer crosswalks for said pedestrians.
  • 276-286 Thomas Burgin Parkway Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
The crosswalk signal is too short, you barely step off the curb and the signal changes from solid white to flashing orange and you need to cross 4 lanes of traffic to reach the other sidewalk at Quincy Adams T station.
  • Linden St Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
and more potholes -- at a minimum I spotted 13 potholes on Linden St. and Berlin St. And since the streetlight at that corner has been out of service for more than a month, these potholes are more dangerous for pedestrians if they don't carry a flashlight.
  • Street Lights Acknowledged
381 Hancock Street Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
This streetlight is in front of the North Quincy branch of the Thomas Crane Public Library.
  • 28 Linden Street Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
Why is it taking so long to fix this street light? Look at how dark this area is and there is a lot of pedestrian foot traffic as well as motor vehicles. Please fix this street light.
  • 511r Hancock Street Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
This is the entrance used by residents at Fenno House as well as many dozens of residents in this section of Wollaston who walk to Big Y Supermarket. The person(s) who cleared this entrance obviously has not compassion for the elderly or physically challenged. They did not clear the wider entrance between the two yellow poles, thus a personal shopping cart cannot be rolled through this entry. Seriously, why is commonsense as well as a little compassion too much to expect?
  • 547-549 Hancock Street Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy

Now that Wollaston Station is closed, there will be many commuters walking to the MBTA shuttle stop at Hancock/Woodbine, today I had to walk in the street on Hancock because large swathes of sidewalk were not cleared.

My difficulties began at the corner of Linden and Hancock and all the way through the USPS truck garage. Prime Oil did nothing to clear their sidewalks but rather plowed snow onto their sidewalks.

How is Quincy able to consider itself a walkable city when you can’t even walk on its sidewalks?

  • 511r Hancock Street Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
This pathway is not only used by the many residents in the area of Linden, Berlin and Weston Ave. it is also the safest route for the seniors residing at Fenno House. Who is responsible for plowing this path including the shortcut into the Big Y shopping plaza? This is the same problem every winter, amnesia strikes and everyone forgets that there are people (including many seniors) who just want to go to the store without injury.
  • 54-98 Berlin Street Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
Why isn't someone with the City of Quincy getting on National Grid's case to have this street light fixed? This area is pitch dark and there is a lot of foot traffic from residents walking to and from Big Y.
  • 73 Freedom Trail Boston, Massachusetts - Central
This section of the Freedom Trail is in front of a public space (Granary Buring Ground, therefore no private businesses to do a proper job of clearing snow and ice) has many patches of ice that needs to be removed. We can't expect the "current residents" to remove snow and ice, now can we?
  • 99 Wayland St Quincy, MA 02170, USA - Quincy
    Stop &I should cart spotted
  • 54-98 Berlin Street Quincy Massachusetts - Quincy
this issue was reported on 12/13/17 and no one from TPL has bothered to come out and fix it. What is Mike Coffey doing to earn his salary? Not much judging by this as well as his silence on the impending traffic disaster known as the Wollaston Station closure
