With the cooler air the manhole cover on 14th Street by the blue DELTA gas station is rattling once again when the cars drive over it.
I reported the same issue on 6/24/20 under ID 8057545. At that time you could see number 443 painted next to the lid, but this number has faded away by now. Please do not let us have restless nights for as long as we had to wait in 2020 to have the issue fixed. This is a quality of life issue, the rattling noise travels up the building and it is very stressful. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

This white Ford seems to have been abandoned on our street block weeks ago. License Plate V57NSF. Multiple parking tickets have been posted already. Can you please have the car removed to allow proper street cleaning on our block? Thank you.

The constant noise from the low flying helicopters make it difficult to enjoy the Newport Green Park, Playground, Beach and Waterfront. How long will these helicopters be allowed to disturb the peace in our neighborhood?

Why are these helicopters allowed to fly so low over residential areas?

Noise pollution from helicopters constantly flying low over Grove Street. They come from NYC, fly over Hoboken Train Station, cross Grove Street btw. 15th & 14th Streets, continue up 139 West, then turn right over Kennedy Blvd. // Route 1/9 North. They fly both ways to & from NYC. This is unacceptable, they reduce quality of life in our neighborhood. Photo shows them fly over the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Jersey City.

This manhole cover no. 11426 has been rattling loud for a long time. It is in front of the Shell Gas Station on 14th Street (off Marin Blvd.). We can hear the noise from our living room 24/7.

Can you please have your team place washers into the rim to seal the cover?

Our peace did not last long. A few yards down on 14th Street another manhole cover developed into a noise nuisance when cars drive over it day and night. The rattling sound travels to our building, dropping our quality of life once again. The manhole cover is clearly marked with NUMBER 62 and is located on 14th Street (btw. Erie & Grove Streets) across from the Adult Rehabilitation Center at The Salvation Army (248 Erie Street, Jersey City).

Can you please assign your team once again to 14th Street to place some washers into the manhole rim?

Cover missing on hole by Shell Gas Station (164 14th Street, JC) corner of 14th Street & Luis Munoz Marin Boulevard.

Manhole Cover 443 in the drive in way to the Mobile Gas Station rattles when cars drive over it. This gas station is currently closed, but cars still manage to drive over this cover. Please have your team seal the lid, if possible. The rattling sounds travel up the buildings. Now in the summer time with open windows, the noise is even more disturbing. Thank you!
