    A large "dead end - no through street" is needed on the turn into river's edge drive from the traffic lights on plattsburgh ave. Traffic speeds into the small narrow neighborhood street thinking they can shortcut onto the avenue - but it's a dead end.
    It's a dangerous situation that is worse in summer with the number of people using the bike lane - especially so because of the numbers of kids that live in the area.

    This is a very small pile of glass, but it's part of a big problem - there is no trash receptacle at Mayes landing. People fishing and hanging out leave empty worm containers, broken beer bottles, cans and other rubbish. Perhaps.....they might throw it away. There are dogs running unleashed (another issue altogether)and kids - all at risk from glass - let alone the animals and birds there.
