Traffic Improvement Request Acknowledged47.50260 -122.19731 - RentonDivers seem to think this light is a suggestion There has been an increase of red light runners com all directions Could we make this photo enforced? Dive thru here at least 4-6 times a day and at least 2-3 driver blow through the light or dart around traffic failing to yield

Traffic Signal Issue Acknowledged1201–1259 Talbot Rd S Renton WA 98057, United States - RentonPlease remove the flashing yield on left here 1 drivers fail to yield to oncoming traffic And 2 this intersection is too high volume to have it I was wondering why i was having close calls with drivers the past couple of months Many drivers turn left when the light turns green not checking to see if they have right of way or not Please remove this Thank you

Other Archived1201 Lake Washington Blvd N Renton WA 98056, United States - RentonIncreased number of bikes and dogs I thought the city tried to fix this No luck Your parks department needs to start ticketing people that bring dogs and bikes into park This rule has always been but never enforced because until recently people have honored it Now they dont care

616-650 138th Ave Se Renton, WA, 98059, USA - Renton
Unsafe driving caused by construction zone slow downs. All too often I see drivers fail to slow down for construction zone. Or become irritated when drivers in front of them slow down to 25mph for the construction zone. At night it isn't uncommon to have drivers recklessly zip around me at 55+ after the construction zone ends. Or fly up behind me going insanely fast 15+ over speed limit then slam their breaks and become irritated due to the slow down. Please reinforce speed limits here. It's a muck of an incident waiting to happen. As many speed violators that pass through here I'm surprised the city isn't enforcing the speed limit.
The fluidly changing construction zone throws people off and I've had some close calls with drivers merging into the construction zone from the side streets. During peak traffic time frames the workers should be assisting in letting vehicles in and out.
The construction crews often block the school zone on/off lights and drivers fail to slow down for them.
When I commute through here after 10pm there is a repeat offender of a white truck. The other night the jerk zipped around me like it was an incontinence to slow down for the construction zone and almost took me out in the process. This is not the first time occurrence. I bet if you patrol nightly for this individual between 10p-12a you'd issue several tickets to speed violators.

Streetlight Issue ArchivedNe Sunset Blvd & Union Ave Ne Renton, WA, 98059, USA - RentonThe past couple nights after 10 pm this light turns to a four way flashing intersection. A regular light cycle would be safer. Most people blow right through flashing four way stops or have no clue how to do proper right of way at four way stops. Most just go when you've barely cleared the intersection or fail to yield to it all together. Please change this back to a regular light at night. Thank you. It would be safter.

Traffic Signal Issue Archived509-531 Main Ave S Renton, WA, 98057, USA - RentonThe last change made to this light makes traffic on S Grady way back up going into down town Renton. You can wait any where form 2-4 minutes before it changes. Traffic backs up to where Sam's club was and changes before all the traffic can flow through. I feel the light cycle should be reset to their settings before the most recent change. Traffic flowed appropriately through the odd 5 way intersection. During rush hour I would suggest shorter cycles and more of them to allow traffic flow.

Traffic/Signal Operations Issue ArchivedSe Carr Rd & Talbot Rd S Renton, WA, 98055, USA - RentonTraffic coming out of Talbot Rd S (going north bound) is horrid during rush hour. You sit any where from 3-5 light cycles and that's just to get up to the light. I feel that cycles on Carr Rd should be reduced in length. Cycles should be shorter and allow more intervals so that other directions can go. If you access Talbot Rd S coming from the other directions, you can get into the road just fine but coming out of it can be long waits.

Streetlight Issue Archived106th Pl Se Renton, WA, 98055, USA - Cascade-Fairwood
Could these two directions please be separated and have their own right of way. Some times there's so much traffic it's challenging to come out of the Fred Meyer shopping complex.
Why doesn't Renton have pedestrian only right at lights of ways instead of allowing them to go with the flow of traffic in higher populated intersections? The population is growing and in higher populated areas traffic can't go when pedestrians are steady. Instead of posting insulting signs that have arrows that state stop here. Pedestrian stopping. Yield to me it's the law. Just give them their own right of way and you'll save a bundle on street signs.
