There is a broken cable box in the corner of my yard adjacent to the sidewalk that was installed many years ago and appears to have been abandoned. I looked at the exterior cover as well as the hardware underneath the cover and could not determine who the box belongs to, but I took additional pictures of what I saw and can send them to you if that would be helpful.

This morning, a Dept. of Public Works truck backed onto the lawn adjacent to my driveway to install a road sign on the lamp post in front of my house, and as you can see from the attached picture, it left deep tire tracks in the lawn. Although this is the first time I've encountered this issue caused by a county vehicle, its been an ongoing problem throughout the school year when parents park their cars along the roadway while picking up their children from Thunderhill Elementary. I've attempted to ameliorate the damage caused by these vehicles by installing several of the orange and white reflective poles you can see in the picture in the grass along the roadway next to the curb, but that clearly didn't deter the driver of the country truck this morning. The pole in the picture had been knocked down and had to be reinstalled after he left.

Late last Fall (I believe in November) the County replaced portions of the sidewalk on both sides of my driveway. After the concrete segments were poured, they spread hay and grass seed over the areas that were dug up but the entire area has turned into a muddy mess given the large amount of precipitation we've had and the fact that the seed was put down very late in the year.
