I live at 3230 53rd St N. I have 2 more holes formed on my property over the storm drain pipe. This has been an ongoing problem. The drain pipe needs to be fixed. So far all that is done is the holes are filled in. A permanent fix needs to take place.

I had to fix my garage wall on that side of my house along the same pipe. It was shifting.

This is also the same drain that cannot keep up with the amount of water flowing to it and floods about 2-3 feet of water.

Major flooding. I added a picture to show what happens multiple times a year. With the rainy season fast approaching this issue needs to be a priority. 3 roads with multiple branches flow into one drain at the base of my house. My neighbor and I have asked for a fix but I have not seen an attempt to redirect the water from our drain. I’m glad there is documentation of all these requests now. 2-3ft of water should never accumulate in a residential area if prevention is possible and it definitely is preventable. 30th Ave North should not flow into our road and neither should 52nd Ave flow down our road either. Please fix before someone is hurt or property is lost. I’m happy to meet up with the engineers to show them the issue. Thank you

2 Things and they are related.
    1. There is a hole forming under the edge of my driveway in the same place there was an issue a couple years ago. It is forming above the storm drain. From my understanding, it was patched at that time and the hole filled in.
    2. Unfortunately the bigger issue has been overlooked for years regarding the flooding that has been reported numerous times by my neighbors and I. There are 3 major roads filtering into one storm drain and the drain cannot keep up. About 4 times a summer, the water comes up into our yard and almost into our garage. If a car is left on the road, it would be flooded. Nearly 3 feet of water is in the street. I would hope the city would redirect the water flow to multiple drains in the neighborhood so that this will stop. I have pictures of the flooding and the dangers caused by it. And the potential property damage caused by this. My Jeep is parked in the driveway and the back of it (muffler is still submerged). This can definitely be avoided by the redirection of two of the roads. Thank you for taking care of this.
