    The noisy manhole cover problem is back. The manhole covers on Summit where it meets with Edward St. are banging when traffic drives over them. Rubber strips are not durable enough to last very long. You should tack weld them down until next year's street repair.

    I have reported this a couple of times. I think you misunderstood. The covers that are loose are in Summit street itself where it meets Edward St. The cover in Edward St is not the problem. The loose covers are shown in the attached picture. Thanks.

    This is in reference to the problem reported in 5228759. That problem is not fixed. The manhole cover needs to be tacked welded in place to stop it from banging when vehicles drive over it. If this problem is not fixed, I will show up in person and file a noise complaint against the city.
