When is South Street going to be repaved. Winter is coming and the raised sewer covers will not be able to be seen when there is snow. It is bad enough now driving down the street and dodging these Raised sewer covers. The street was dug up months ago and work was done but it has been at least a month since the work was done and NO ONE has come back to repave the street.

Wondering WHY there are white type tall cones on Summer street near Gourley Road? The 1st few days that they were there they were on Gourley Road and Summer Street. Now they are on Summer Street and some at the corner of Walnut Street. They seemed to be being moved every few days. Do not know the purpose of these because at one point they were on the cross walk on Summer Street near the basket ball court and there was barely enough room to drive through.

The tree in front of 28 Thomas Street the branches are hanging over the sidewalk and touching the roof (which is allowing squirrels to crawl onto my room and try to get into my house). Also hanging over the street and when trucks go by they are grazing the branches which is causing them to become loose and when there is heavy wind these branches have fallen. A branch has already hit a parked car once but we have been lucky so far that no one has been injured. I have called city hall 4 weeks in a row and NO one has come out to trim this tree. I also called the Mayors office last week about this issue. I would hope the City does not want to wait until some gets hurt from a falling branch before they come out to take care of this problem.

At the end of South Street at the intersection of Main Street there was a sign that said "Right Lane Right turn ONLY". The sign is no longer there and no one pays attention to the arrow on the road. Don't know what happened to the sign but it needs to be put back up ASAP.

This past summer a new sidewalk was put at the corner of South Street in Winthrop Street with a bump out. Attached is a picture of the ice that keeps forming on the sidewalk because it does not drain the water when the snow melts. we cleared paths into the street through the snow but the water will not drain that way it just sits and puddles and then turns to ice. it’s a dangerous situation when are coming around from Winthrop Street to South Street and I don’t want anybody to get hurt. someone needs to check that out we do shovel and snow blow the whole front of a house and put icemelt but it’s not helping somehow it has to drain towards the street to drop the water from puddling and turning to ice.

The street light directly in front of 128 South Street is STILL out. I reported this problem a few months ago and the light was fixed. Then they changed the light over to the new lights not long after the light was replaced and the new light worked for a bit but now it is out again. This light is on the corner of South and winthrop Street which is a Very busy road and it is Very Dark with this light out. People walk this street a lot so there needs to be a street light that works.
