    This individual has been living in the park for 2 1/2 years. YEARS. His camp is getting larger and more cluttered all the time. Why has nothing been done about this? This issue has been reported multiple times to the city, EPD, Alameda county, etc. Is the city unable to do anything about this, or unwilling to do anything- it’s one or the other.

    5900 block of Beaudry has sweeping in the west side in 2nd Thu. Today, everyone moved their cars and the street is empty. Unfortunately the sweeper didn’t cover most of the street, leaving debris and litter in the gutter.

    The individual is still living in his tent behind the community garden. He has now been there for over a year. This issue has been reported multiple times to both the city and EPD with no resolution. While I am sympathetic to his situation, at what point does it become a disservice to him to allow him to live in a park for a year? Please, please can we have this illegal, unsanitary, and inhumane situation addressed? Can we find him a better solution? Thank you.

    There is a growing group of people, now up to five or six, that are sleeping along the greenway path, behind the community garden at 59tb, etc. It is concerning that the lack of enforcement seems to be encouraging more people to “move in” to this area.

    Since the activation of the new (long red) stoplight at Powell and Doyle, traffic has increased dramatically on 59th between Hollis and San Pablo. Many vehicles aren’t stopping at the stop signs at Doyle and 59th. It’s creating a safety hazard with the greenway crossing at that intersection. Can we please get some enforcement at this intersection?
