    Please replace the chain locking system with a more secure latch which will eliminate the possibility of there being a wide gap in the maintenance gate at the south end of the Woodmere Dog Park. My friend's dog has escaped twice, and I have heard it's happened to other dogs. I have attached a photo of a heavy duty latch designed for double gates that should fix the problem. Maker and model number are on the photo. Thanks.

    The exterior gate at the dog park is sagging so badly that most people are unable to latch the gate. To latch the gate, you have to lift the entire gate up onto the concrete pad between the two gates.

    Please adjust the traffic light timing at the intersection of Pinebrook Rd & E Venice Ave., at least during season. As traffic volume increases, it's not unusual for northbound Pinebrook traffic, intent on turning west onto Venice Ave, to go through two or even three light cycles before being able to make the turn.
