Storm water not draining. Trenches in Cook Park are over grown and need to be dug. There are multiple areas on this street. Ongoing problem that never gets resolved by the city.

This photo was taken 24 hrs after rain ended. Water does not drain. City has tried fixing this problem by digging a trench in the park but it only lasts a few months. We need a more permanent fix to this street flooding issue. The road could use some help too. I've called and reported this problem many times. The road is all muddy from water washing down from side street.

I have been calling the stormwater dept since May about the street flooding. The water has no where to go and sits there for days. They admitted the grass in cook park is higher than the Road. They promised to dig drainage ditches to let the water run out. Also to do something more permanent to the Road than it's current situation. Well it's Sept. And still nothing done. Water flows like a river down side street to juanita way s all the way to Lake Maggiire Blvd S. During rain I can't use my car due to 8 inches of water on road. Now there are numerous pot holes. Also intersection of Sunrise Dr S and Juanita Way S floods and large pot hole in that water. I have waited patiently for 4 months. If nothing is done soon my next step is contacting local news channel. Also a tree came down and took out the power line to street lights and park lights. Wonder how long that's going to take to get fixed?
