    What are the city's property maintenance requirements. The two houses behind mine (they are on Columbia) are vacant and their backyards are very overgrown. In particular, weed trees, the Tree of Heaven, are rapidly growing. Can I petition the city to have the owner maintain these properties by removing the overgrowth?

    We just applied online for the now required parking permit. As senior citizens, we understood that the $15 fee was to be waived. But, we just received a notice that we must pay the fee. What gives? Not to hold up the permit we paid the fee. How can we get the money back?
