Tree from 401 Smith Avenue's property has lost a large branch and fallen into the street on Old Pittsboro Rd. Line of sight is obstructed and the road is already very narrow for two cars to pass.

Can the town please investigate ways to make this one-way road more safe, or have police monitor people illegally attempting to exit the neighborhood from Coolidge onto South Columbia?

Several times over the last few weeks I've nearly been in an accident from trying to turn into the neighborhood while someone is illegally attempting to exit going the wrong way.

People are not only ignoring the One Way signs and driving the wrong direction illegally, but in the evening this exit is poorly lit.

Several large tree branches down across from 817 Old Pittsboro blocking part of the street and visibility. Was still there as of this AM.

Dead deer on in the median partially in the road (left lane) heading towards Carrboro from S. Columbia

The storm drain between 817 and 819 Old Pittsboro Rd has been clogged with pine straw and debris from the last year, leading to erosion of the road when water builds up at the drain between 815 and 817.

The town has previously come out with a machine to clear the drain and this needs to be repeated

There is significant growth of vines climbing up the power lines and into the electrical box at this location

When heading South on 15-501 with the exit to Raleigh Rd towards campus on your right, there is a massive and deep pothole either on or just over the bridge in the left lane. Sorry I don't have a picture or exact location, but if you drive, you'll see it long before you get to St. Thomas Moore.

The light for traffic going northbound (heading towards Crook's Corner) on S Merritt Mill (crossing Franklin) does not stay green for long enough during high traffic times during the week. As there is both oncoming traffic (away from Crook's Corner) and no left turn signal, traffic routinely gets backed up here, leading to only 2-3 cars sometimes being able to turn/cross the street per cycle, followed by a long wait for traffic on Franklin/E Main St.

I would request someone either investigate the addition of a left turn signal, or longer green light for the traffic heading towards Crook's Corner during high traffic times.

I'm not sure if this was fixed previously, but the conditions on the side of the street here are dangerous/crumbling, leading to an already narrow portion of the street being dangerous for when two cars are on the road at the same time.

I have personally gotten my car stuck here after not being able to see that part of the road had crumbled away, leaving reduced width when there was another car coming the opposite direction.

This was reported several weeks ago and "repaired" - however the "repair" is no longer functional and the road is crumbling again and needs to be fixed.
