    This is not a parking zone or a camping zone.
    They cost me $20000 in the front of my building to move them now they are blocking the entrance The same place we would park a company vehicle for 2 hours and get a ticket.

    This is getting old. Every time my drivers are trying to leave our parking
    Lot they have to get in an argument with someone illegally parked in a red zone.
    Who can actually fix this? The drivers from the port don't care about laws or rules. They just tell us don't worry about it.
    What has to happen to get someone to start towing these tractor trailers?

    Not sure the city has checked 5th street in weeks but there are abandoned cars, abandoned trailers and massive amounts of garbage all along the street. This isn't great since I run 8 tractor trailers down this route daily since our driveway is on 5th. We have been a business in the area for 50+ years, employing over 100 local residents for years.
    Please stop allowing my employees to be afraid of coming to work.
    This is a disaster

    Trailer still stored and not moving in a red zone?!?! Not sure why this is allowed. If I park illegally I get a ticket immediately but for some reason this trailer can just sit for days and days not to mention I see the parking enforcement officer daily do absolutely nothing? I can't explain that.

    Yes that is a trailer in a red zone it has been there for 4 days, the parking enforcement officer sat behind it and talked to the driver yesterday when he stopped his tractor.. Still blocking a red zone ..

    Daily we have trailers parked outside our TRUCK exit in red zones. We cannot get our own trucks out of the yard because of this lack of concern. I see the parking enforcement vehicle down here daily but nothing happens. There are now 10 trailers on 5th parked illegally.

    I have been reporting the issues for multiple years. NOW it is urgent. We have to trim our trees because they are a risk to our business and to the homeless population that lives on our PRIVATE PROPERTY. I will be giving them a letter today that they need to move, they won't. On 9/15/21 the trees will be trimmed and they will need to be off my property completely.     This car has been here over a year, it's a great representation of Oakland's lack of concern for their city. If I parked my car illegally I would get a ticket in 5 minutes, this car has been here 12 months and the police look at it and drive on by. They told me many times this week when I had to call them because a homeless man came into our business without pants and threatened to kill me that the leaders of Oakland told them to not do anything. Heck of a policy. Cant wait to move out of the state
