The weeds and overgrowth at the corner of Heather Way and Geddes is still an issue. After submitting FixIt request on 9/18/22, the overgrowth at the southeast corner of this intersection was cut back and greatly improved visibility. However, the overgrowth at the southwest corner of this intersection is as much as, if not a bigger, issue. Traffic heading east on Geddes crest a slight hill just west of Heather Way, and are not visible to cars stopped at the HW stop signbecause of this overgrowth. Again, this is a continual issue and safety hazard. This past weekend was particularly dangerous with the increased number of cars on Geddes.

It is next to impossible to see cars going either direction on Geddes while waiting at the stop sign on Heather Way to turn onto Geddes. This issue is continual and needs to be fully addressed. The grass/weeds/trees need to be, at the least, cut drastically down. A more permanent removal of them would more likely prevent this issue from being a continual danger throughout the summer months.

Bushes at southwest corner of Geddes and Heather Way need to be trimmed back. It is impossible to see oncoming traffic while waiting at the stop sign to turn onto Geddes.

Recent rainstorm dragged road material (sand, dirt, gravel) into sewer and clogged it. Road material and rain then bypassed sewer and ran down the road and down our drivewa, where it has looked into mud piles. (We are in contact with various contractors to pour new driveway however, the road material is continually being dragged down and typically onto our property.;.

Please cut back the vegetation at the SW corner of Heather Way & Geddes. The extreme overgrowth is preventing clear visibility while turning onto Geddes from Heather Way. Cars heading East on Geddes do not see cars at stop sign or walkers trying to cross Geddes to get to a sidewalk.

This seems to be an issue every year. I have trimmed back some of the vegetation myself, after almost being hit at this intersection. City needs to be vigilant about maintaining this area. Property owners need to be told by city to cut back overgrowyh.

Many driving East on Geddes tend to speed up as they approach Heather Way, because the street is at an incline at this point.

The holes in Heather Way, from the intersection at Devonshire to 805 (and beyond, to Geddes) are beyond what I would call "potholes". Some are two feet wide and 4+" deep. There is not a clear part of the road to drive on to avoid hitting multiple holes. It is extremely dangerous to walk and bike on this road as well. This issue is continuing -- literally every couple of months, and sometimes every couple of weeks depending on the weather, these holes appear. It is particularly bad right now.

A large limb of a tree has fallen across Heather Way, likely from last night's storm. It is blocking the road. Please remove it.
  • Heather Way And Geddes Ann Arbor, Michigan - Ann Arbor
The trees on the southwest corner of Heather Way/Geddes are overgrown and need to be trimmed. They are make turning left onto Geddes from Heather Way dangerously difficult. (The turn is difficult without tree interference, as traffic going east on Geddes at this intersection appears from heading up the incline with little visibility to cars on Heather Way.)

Followup to 04/24/18 FixIt: Please be aware that just one day after potholes and a deep gulley on Heather Way were addressed, a gulley again started forming down the middle of the road. There is an erosion problem on this road that the city needs to address.

Also, numerous potholes are again present on the road -- just three weeks after the previous potholes were "filled." The way potholes are treated on this gravel road does not seem to adequately fix the potholes issue.

The north part of Heather Way (between Geddes and Devonshire) is in terrible disrepair. The potholes that normally form are usually filled in on a somewhat regular basis. However, the numerous holes that exist now have not been addressed since before winter, I believe. There is also a major gulley down the middle of the road, and another shallower one on the north side of the road. The road is quite dangerous to walk on, bike on, and drive on, and needs to be addressed immediately.
