With the increase of traffic volume from the two new developments along 58th Strret north of Roosevelt traffic SB has become a big problem as there is only one lane that allows SB and Wb traffic at Roosevelt. There needs o be a dedicated turn lane to turn West onto Roosevelt from 58th Street. If there is one vehicle that is stopped at the red light, no one else can turn West. This is causing a huge back up and encouraging people to avoide the traffic light by cutting through the the 7-11 parking lot to get onto Roosevelt. We really need help addressing this as traffic gets backed up on 58th Street and doesn't flow allowing the turn lane to fill for Eastbound traffic on Roosevelt as well. Please help!

Overgrown grass and weeds. The crew that comes out normally is amazing and I would love if they could make their way out to cut the overgrown weeds out that grow on both sides of the ditch.

Along the West side of 58th street South of Whitney road along both sides of the ditch there is tall grass. Also along Whitney road West of 58th street on the Southside along the residential properties there is tall grass.

The issue at this intersection is the type of traffic light. With the flashing left turn arrow it gives people a false sense of safety or entitlement. I have seen two crashes at the intersection because the drivers were facing the flashing yellow light and failed to yield to an oncoming vehicle because they believed the other direction traffic was going to stop. I would love for a non flashing yield light be installed but at the very least maybe more education about what to do when at these lights. I know the City of St. Petersburg did some PSA about the new style of light to educate the public. I drive that way to work and when we leave our neighborhood and I want to live in a safe area traffic wise instead of avoiding an intersection because of a traffic engineering issue. Please pay attention to this issue. Thank you!
