The Janet Echelman net titled Bending Arc is a hazard for all birds - especially migratory birds. The so called work of art is just a net that is trapping birds - recently a duck. Please remove this bird trap asap. The city was notified by numerous entities that this would be a death trap for birds and they were ignored - now we see that it is true. Pinellas is home to many highly endangered and threatened bird species for which this netting presents a possible take, and the Migratory Bird Act also prohibits the taking of birds. I hope that the city will retroactively do the right thing, come into compliance with existing laws and removed this hazard. Thanks
