Truck drving over curb to Island. Not sure who did this.
However, happens all the time. New curb already cracked in one spot due to trucks driving over the curb. Kind of frustrating as I am the one who takes care of the lawn on island filling in ruts, seeding, fertilize and weed control, cut the grass and rake leaves.

Why do the snow plows always push the snow up in front of the mailbox?
How is it expected for the mail to be delivered and who is expected to shovel this for access? This can certainly be avoided and makes no sense. Required selections for damage not applicable.

Trash truck drove up on Island. Unfortunately trash truck did ot come by at normal time about 6:30-7:00am. I have a lot of construction being done at my home and by 8:30 there were some vehicles parked around the circle. If I am a driver and know I can not negotiate the circle why would I think it was okay to just jump the curb.

This crab apple tree is on center island of street which I take care of. The tree has seemingly getting worse each year and may be dying., There is also a hole in the trunk which appears to go down a ways, I would like someone to come and see if it needs to be taken down.

No trash pickup this week?

Trash track ran over new curb and newly seeded soil on center island.
There was a car parked on that corner and I know the driver backed up at least once but to no avail.
Would hope there is a better way possible in the future.
I notiied the driver of vehicle that he should refrain from parking on the circle particularly on trash days.

Tuesday January 13. Trash truck driving over curb again on center island. Driving over markers. Even though it is not my property: I maintain it, Add soil, seed, weed, feed, and cut the grass. Need to hire somone who knows how to drive or has respect for property, No excuse. There are no cars parked on the circle.

This area was dug up again and repaved, Need to come out and take a look. Poor job in my opinon. Black rocks and loose pebbles coming up. Not smooth . Worse then what was there before. also damaged lawn on island with big rut.

Rode right over snow markers I put up. I reset them again. Talked to whoever again. No excuse for this. Not acceptable. No respect for property and bad driving

I am sick and tired of the trash trucks driving over the curb and on to the grass of the center island at the end of the street where I live. This happens over and over and I have reported this numerous times over the years. I have put up markers(:ie for snow) that are continuously driven over and damaged. No, there are no cars parked on the street. No excuses. Just careless, negligent and bad driving. I spent my time to care for the lawn. And I spend my money. I cut and water the grass, fertilize, weed and rake the leaves. No I am not sending a photo. I have already done that many times. County has come out a few times to fix lawn damage already. This makes me very angry. My next step is to confront the drivers in person.

Trash truck drove over curb several feet on to grass Island. Driving over markers to try to prevent very thing. This is second time in the last month. No cars on the street. This is uncalled for. Careless lack of respect and poor driving. This has been an ongoing problem over the years. I spend a lot of time and money to maintain that area

This tree has many dead limbs which has created a dangerous hazard. Several large branches have fallen in thunderstorms. This is a county tree. It seems the tree should be trimmed back in a major way or cut down all together

This is Monday 6/18. Trash Truck up over the curb on Center Island again. What is going to be done because this is happening all the time now.

This is pic of the fourth marker to be damaged in as many weeks by recycle truck on the center island that is county property but, that I take care of just as if my own lawn time & money. Saw a repair was made from before to grass. Are there new drivers? Has anyone talked to the drivers as this is now a very reoccurring issue.

Recycle Truck went over cub up to 3 feet damaging and taking down two markers. This has happened before and represents lack of care that is most often displayed.
Tire tracks on the lawn with indents of tires. Why? Can be avoided.

Did not see a category for snow and ice removal?When are you all going to stop pushing snow from road in front of the mail box? I shoveled the snow away from mail box before snow plow came around. This is ridiculous. How is the post person or anyone else supposed to get to the mail box? What if we had a foot of snow? Would not even see the mail box. Is there like a snow plow school or would common sense suffice. I am not shoveling this time! I'll let the US Postal service complain to you!

Although the picture was taken to show damage of trash truck driving over the curb in the background one can see snow that had been pushed up in front of the mailbox from the latest snow storm. With all the melting that has taken place it is still a couple feet high. I had to shovel a path through the mound of snow in order for the mail person to gain access to the mailbox. Is there another alternative? The mailbox has not been damaged but a selection was required.

This is actually a curb concern. As one can see from the pictures the cub has deteriorated. This is typical of the entire curb going around this piece of property. Whether this is due to age or all the heavy vehicles that have driven over it or snow plows hitting it, the curb is probably in need of replacement. In some areas it is only an inch or so above the roadway. Given an earlier concern I reported and the frequency of county vehicles unable to negotiated the circle perhaps some consideration should be given to just paving the area over. Certainly would save me a lot of time, money and aggravation. The mail box could be relocated along the side of the road.

This morning 1/22/19 at 7AM The trash truck proceeded to drive 3 feet over the curb damaging several of the curb markers. I have more pictures. This has been a problem in the past but not for a while. There were no vehicles or obstructions on the roadway. Fortunately the ground was frozen enough as to prevent the large indents into the ground that usually occur. As my wife witnessed this and tried to address it with one of the employees his attitude seemed to be he had no idea what she was complaining about. There is no excuse for this. I have driven trucks before, I have also seen a trash truck on more then one occasion drive around the circle with no problem and without having to back up which is often what is done. It is the responsibility of the home owners surrounding this piece of county property to maintain it. I am the one home owner who seeds, fertilizes, mows and everything else required for this piece of land.
I spent the money to put up the markers so that the various drivers would have the sense to negotiate the turn without driving over the curb. I would like to be reimbursed for those that have been damaged.
