Drainage/Flooding Issue AcknowledgedPine Lake Sammamish, Washington - SammamishIn 2015 we had a serious drought and the water level in Pine Lake dropped significantly. I've been a volunteer monitor for Pine Lake since I moved here in 1992. After we became a city in 2000 I inquired about the number of houses on the lake that are grandfathered into being able to pimp lake water to water their lawns, etc. The ciy official was surprised - he'd never looked for the information before, but it was well over 30 properties. It would be a good idea, I think, to disallow this provision when a lakefront property is next sold.

Public Park Issue Archived98075 Sammamish, WA, USA - SammamishThere is an illegal MB bike park being built on the backside of 3825 219 Ave Se, that spills onto public land and connects to Se 43rd way, there is no public access to this trail. They have cut down trees, and cleared a lot of native growth to make this path. They are using the cut trees to make jumps/obstacles and banks, so it will not be walkable. This forest will no longer sequester carbon as it once did, and is not as beautiful as it was before they disturbed it. The trail was built on top of bear/deer trails, so they will no longer be able to use that area comfortably: we have not seen as many deer in the area since hearing the chainsaws. This is 15 min away from duthie, absolutely no reason this should be built.

Drainage/Flooding Issue Archived2504 191st Ct Se Sammamish, Washington, 98075 - SammamishThere was a pipe repair done on E. Lake Sammamish on 3/21 which ended up failing at 10:50pm flooding our yard and washing debris and garbage/glass down our yard and further eroding our hillside. This is the second major flood we've had due to the city of Sammamish and we are desperately hoping that someone can resolve this issue once and for all. I have videos as well if needed. Our yard washed out and flowed into our neighbors yard below us and he submitted a report as well.

Traffic Safety Issue Archived22920 Ne 19th Dr Sammamish, Washington, 98074 - Sammamish
Hello!
My name is Ritu Sidana.
I live in Deerfield neighborhood in Sammamish. We have recently moved to 22920 NE 19th Dr Sammamish.
Issue we are facing is that the 19th Dr is on a slope, and we have noticed that a lot of cars speed on this road, especially in front of our house given how the road curves and we are very close to 228th.
Since it’s a family neighborhood with lots of kids it's a big safety concern for the residents in the area. We don't feel safe crossing the road and there is no mechanism in place for cars to slow down when someone is trying to cross the road.
Would it be possible for someone to pay a visit and assess the situation?
Ideally, we would like to add a speed bump at the top of the road, so cars can slowdown a bit from there on. Secondly, we would like to add a cross walk on the road as it's very difficult to cross the road at any time of the day, given that it's a very high traffic area with speeding cars.I can be reached at ritusidana@gmail.com for further communication regarding this matter.
Thanks!

19314 Se 24th Way Sammamish, Washington, 98075 - SammamishHello, There are 5-6 unclaimed recycle and garbage bins located on my property at 19302 SE 24th Way, Sammamish 98075. These bins appeared on my premises since I moved in, and to my knowledge, no one in the vicinity has claimed ownership or responsibility for them. I am unsure of their origin or the responsible party for placing them on my property. I kindly request the city's assistance in removing these unclaimed bins promptly to prevent any accident on road (they are not on road right now but extreme windy weather could send them on road, creating safety risk) and to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of my property.

Stormwater Pond Issue Archived24315 Se 46th Way Sammamish, WA, 98029, USA - SammamishThis report is to inform you of deteriorating fencing in what is identified as a wetland area (sign broken off). My son threw a frisbee into the area and attempted to retrieve it by climbing on the fence, but the bottom board broke off resulting in minor bruising. It appears the the fencing is this area has had many repairs, but overall is in poor condition with several posts with nails remaining where the boards have fallen or are missing. I'm hoping the city can do a better job maintaining the fencing in this area. It appears the city has already replaced many boards south of this area but several of the newly repaired areas have come apart as the brackets did not hold the fence boards.

Once again, I must mention that this ‘curb’ is highly dangerous to cyclists.
Trees cast a shadow making it almost invisible.
If you do see it, you are forced into traffic with no shoulder.
Could you at least paint it bright yellow
