    Apparent homeless persons illegally living in tent(s) in an area designated a "Nature Preserve," located adjacent to the intersection of Gandy Blvd and Glen Lakes Blvd. N. Across from the First Baptist Church. They are lighting fires, leaving trash, and possibly illegally tapping into the City's potable water supply line. This is a dangerous public hazard, especially with an impending hurricane strike.

    Gaping hole at the southeast corner of the intersection of South Frontage Road and Glen Lakes Blvd. N. This is NOT on Gandy Blvd, but on South Frontage Road, about 100 yards west of the 94th Ave. intersection. It is a very deep pothole adjacent to the curb, on the southern side of South Frontage Road. It was previously reported today, but deemed o be on Gandy Blvd and dismissed. It is City responsibility to fix.

    Extreme hazard-- traffic signal malfunctioning at 94th Ave. N and S. Frontage Rd. Issue has occuring intermittently for a week or two. Might cause a very serious accident.

    The recycling truck came through Glen Lake Estates this morning and did a horrible job. There was glass all over our streets (again) after they left, which we had to sweep up. In addition, they were sloppy emptying the bins- mine had several items left in it, after it was casually tipped into the truck. The City needs to do a better job here- the Sanitation/Recycling crews need to be much more careful, and pay attention to their jobs.
  • Gandy Boulevard North Saint Petersburg, Florida - St. Petersburg
    An electronic sign for "No Right Turn On Red" at the base of the 94th Street exit ramp off of eastbound Gandy Blvd is not functioning. This sign replaced metal signs stating "No Right Turn On Red," which have been removed. Traffic on westbound 94th Street has a GREEN ARROW to make a left turn onto westbound S. Frontage Road, but cars making right turns off the Gandy exit ramp are turning right at the red light. There have been more than a dozen near-collisions in the past 48 hours. This intersections is currently a MESS.
