    Following the repair of the sidewalk done by DPW, I noticed that the cover to the water pipe at the left front edge of my property is broken, so now there's a hole where there ought to be a cover. This seems dangerous to me and I don't know what to do about it. That covered pipe was formerly covered by grass, so I never even noticed it until now. Please advise.

    Quite a few months ago, I reported that scum was covering the drainage pond across from our house. To my knowledge, no one has responded to this issue. Today, the pond is completely coated in scum.

    Across from our house, the pond that's part of a continuing drainage system is heavily coated in scum - maybe an algae bloom, I don't really know - that persists even after heavy rains. Adjacent to our house, the seven cascading "baby'" ponds that feed it are relatively clear but, if you follow them all the way back to the larger pond, that, too, is heavily coated in scum.

    This tree was removed a few months ago, but I've not heard if the stump is to be removed and another tree planted. There's a white mark on the curb in front of the stump. I don't know if this indicates future work to be done. Thanks for your help.
