I found this monitoring unit attached to an outdoor outlet on my house this morning. I was never contacted by anyone, nor did I ever give permission for this to be done. I'd like to know who is conducting this research and for what purpose, exactly what data is being collected, why it is attached to an electrical outlet, who installed the monitor and why I was never asked for permission.

Jewett And S Industrial Ann Arbor, Michigan - Ann Arbor
This intersection can be very difficult for pedestrians to come. S Industrial is increasingly heavy trafficked and that will be more so when the Packard development in the old Kroger is opened. Please consider installing a flashing pedestrian crossing light.

We diligently remove snow along Packard including curb cuts and a bus stop, generally by 8 or 8:30 a.m. The plows traveling throughout the day at a very high speed throw slushy, salty snow back on the side walk at least once and often two or three times during a snow event. We don't have either the time, money or physical capacity to repeatedly remove these (very heavy) throwbacks in order to keep the sidewalks safe and passable for pedestrians. There has got to be a better solution to the city trucks countering our efforts. to keep pedestrian walkways safe and clear.
