The 12" wide window on the control structure is too narrow to support the appropriate flow of water from the pond and is causing the outfall pipe from Sylvan Lea to fight the hydraulic pressure to equalize and causing water in Sylvan Lea to enter residential garages specifically 2132 Sylvan Lea Drive as well as causing a life safety issue staging 3' of water in the roadway with no accessibility for emergency service vehicles. Police reports have been filed in the past. Suggest county re-evaluate the control elevation to include all flow from both Shadow Oaks and Sylvan Lea. Must stop flooding!

What is the schedule to maintain the banks of the stormwater ditch from 6-140-1 to 6-138-3? The weeds are very tall and there is debris in the ditch bottom.

Previous issue ID # SR427379 has not been resolved. Cleaning has happened in some downstream structures but no study or grade work has been completed to provide daylight to the drain pipe from Sylvan Lea drive West to the lake in Shadow Oaks. The storm pipe is still under water even with no rain for months. We had one rain event recently and the roadway still held water because the lake's outfall is too high and the pond's control elevation needs to be adjusted to allow more freeboard during storage events. Please let all the residents of Sylvan Lea what study has been done to verify that the lake's outfall is at the proposed control elevation. Rainy season is coming and the county has had months to manage this problem but the residents of the community believe it has been ignored due to lack of rain events. Provide an update to the residents of the repairs completed and assurance that our homes will not flood when it rains again. Life safety is impacted when the road is flooded and EMS can not reach the residents.

What is the schedule for mowing along the banks of the county ditch? Our property has been graded and had sod installed but the ditch maintenance along the north and east sides of Sylvan Lea are very overgrown and need attention before storm season. There is debris in the flow way that will impact the ability for water to flow. The time to clean it up is now before the rains.
