I do not know whom to contact about the crosswalk buttons. They were automated during the past two years of Covid. But now they are back to manual. I am disabled and in a powerchair. I cannot reach the crosswalk buttons at several intersections in Emeryville.

The Crosswalk button at Shellmound and Ohlone is not accessible to those of us in Powerchairs and Electric scooters. The button is set back too far from the sidewalk for me to reach & press it.

None of the entry doors to the public market are automated for those who are disabled. I am confined to a power chair and cannot open the doors on my own. I have to rely on the kindness of strangers to open doors for me so that I can get into the public market. I called the building management office of the public market on August 28 and was told that installation of automated doors are not on any building maintenance timeline. Apparently, they have no plans to automate the doors even though they have been renovating the building for two years.
