Scott Long Martin's Landing on Riverside

Looks like possible raw sewage from the sewage bypass system spraying in the air — between ace sand company and don white park directly across from Riverside landing neighborhood.

Retaining wall supporting Holcomb Bridge is collapsing into the creek. At the moment HBR looks ok at the moment but the retaining hall had a purpose and it it no longer is being served. Can y’all please take a look? thanks

Address is shown as “little pines ct” but it is really along Holcomb Bridge Rd a hundred yards or so east of the Terramont / Holcomb Bridge Rd traffic light.

Please add a curb cut on the south side of Riverside Road somewhere near the Martin Rd bike lanes so bikes and strollers can safely access the Roswell Riverwalk Trail system.

The bike lanes on Martin Road are very wide and very heavily traveled by people from all over Roswell, but when Martin Road meets Riverside, in order to continue on the Riverwalk trail system, bicycles either have to jump the curb (which in my case has caused flat tires), or you have to get off your bike and linger in the road impeding traffic while you lift your bike over the curb.

If you look closely at the curb opposite Martin Road you can actually see where people are are having to jump the curb.

The same is true for strollers being pushed along the sidewalk trying to get to the Riverwalk trail system.

Roswell has added a curb cut a half mile to the east on Riverside Road near the Martins Landing River Club which helps Martin’s landing residents get between the lake and club by bike and stroller, and this is much appreciated, but only it only helps the private residents of Martin’s Landing- please consider doing the same here at the Riverwalk Trail which would help everyone in Roswell use our parks and trail systems.

Note also that the very wide and heavily used bike lanes on Martin Road are a great way and in fact are the best way to get between the Roswell Alpharetta Greenway and the Roswell Riverwalk Trail system. It is a fantastic connection, no upgrades to Martin Road are required, the only missing link is the curb cut at Martin Road and Riverside.

Existing sidewalk has been taken out of commission for many months, possibly even a year, with no safe option other than to walk in the middle of travel lanes due to to the fencing. It is legal to take a sidewalk without providing an alternative? If it is legal, is there a limit to the number of months or is it unlimited. It seems the right thing to do is put the sidewalk back, even if ultimately they need to rebuild it one more time to finish off the project.

Broken deck board on dock at Don White Park extension has a substandard repair, possibly done by a citizen. Makes it look like the City of Roswell is having financial issues. Replacing with a new plank would probably be safer.

Trail between don white park under 400 and Don White Park extension at shoot the hooch has been muddy and impassable for several weeks now. Can y’all cover with clay chip material or whatever works? Thank you!
  • 171–189 Azalea Dr Roswell 30075, United States - Roswell
Multiple roots lifting the bike trail pavement between Azalea Park and Willeo. Particularly between the entrance to the boardwalk and Willeo. A bike going over these roots could launch the rider off of the bicycle if they do not anticipate the roots and stand up while crossing them. Please either grind up these raised areas, or at a minimum paint them with some type of yellow hazard reflective paint.

Pins attaching the dock at Don White Park extension are missing, putting the dock at potential risk of detaching and floating down the river. See video.
