    2305 Highland Avenue Falls Church, Virginia - Idylwood
    Despite being immediately outside of West Falls Church Metro, this intersection (Haycock is a very busy 4 lane street, and highland is somewhat busy for a 2 lane street) is not lit, does not have a painted crosswalk, and is not ADA compliant. Given this is a high pedestrian area next to the Metro, and is the location of a school bus stop, it should be improved to include full accessibility and safety features. Right now, especially at night, it can be dangerous given how quickly people turn off of Haycock and the corner not being lit. Same goes for Haycock and Grove Ave (except that intersection is not a school bus stop).

Given this is a high pedestrian area next to the Metro, it should be improved to include full accessibility and safety features. Right now, especially at night, it can be dangerous given how quickly people turn off of Haycock and the corner not being lit. Same goes for Haycock and Highland Ave. About two years ago a serious crime (attempted abduction) took place on this corner and no lighting improvements have been made.
