Waste Management Truck#105355 throwing the barrels in the street again. Apparently the City of Salem is powerless to do anything about this guy. Next week I'm gonna try to ask him on video why he doesn't put the barrels back where he found them. This is what I pay over 5000$ a year to the city for. Oh, this and so Marblehead cops can come to the city of Salem and stand around keeping Salem's finest detail officers company so they don't get lonely having nobody but paving workers to talk to for 10 hours.

Here's a shot of the south end of Cousins street. See how the guy in the white truck just kind of nerfed the barrel out towards the center of the street? This is what I'm talking about. I've been making a stink about this for three months, and all that I get is "it's being addressed". There you have it folks, everyone who re-elected "Do-nothing Driscoll", a strong mayor moving Salem forward!

Waste Management, same guy, still leaving barrels in the street, still creating a public hazard/nuisance. What's it been 3 months now?

So there supposedly was a meeting with Waste Management back on September 13 during which the drivers were supposedly told not to do this any more. 4 weeks now and this guy apparently hasn't got the message. Either that or he figures that rule doesn't apply to him. Is there any chance that somebody in this wonderful bureaucracy, can get this sorted out? or is this another case of me the taxpayer having to do this myself? 20,000$ per year for refuse removal, and this is what I get?

Waste Management Still leaving trash receptacles in the street. Truck#105335. Have reported this 3 times previously. Does anyone follow up with Waste Management on this? Whomever you guys talked to at WM they're pulling your chain and making a fool out of you.

This guy, a worker for Iberdrola, speeds down Cousins Street everyday, between the hours of 11am and 1pm, with pipes that clearly violate allowable decibel levels. There are children, dogs and a large number of cats in this neighborhood. It's only a matter of time before this hammerhead hurts himself, or worse, somebody else. Notified Prosniewski at SPD a week ago regarding this. One patrolman Ruiz, was dispatched in his own vehicle, to surrepticiously record this guy's plate # and, supposedly, mail him a ticket. I don't even think that is legal for police to do. I called SPD to ask why traffic enforcement is being delegated to detail work, and was told that they don't have enough police cars available. Seriously. I'm paying almost 6000$ a year in taxes for the gilded palace I live in, and this is the response I get from someone that is technically, my employee. "We're to busy." Next call is to Her Honor, and maybe she can explain, in an election year, why the Police are too busy, for public safety issues.

Waste Management guy did it again. Someone must have said something to him, because this time, he left the whole street's trash barrels in the street. He'll show us. Curiously, the recycle guy puts all his barrels back on the sidewalk. Waste Management seems to have a service consistency problem. Anybody know how much we're paying these people for this type of service?

Waste Management guy left trash barrels in the street again, second week in a row.

The Waste Management guy left my trash can in the street again, along with 2 of my neighbor's barrels also. I guess it's too much of a hassle for him to put the barrel back on the sidewalk where he moved it from, even though that's what my taxes pay him to do.

Older city sidewalk has over 1 foot tall humps due to tree roots from city planted trees. This creates a clear, and present danger to the health and welfare of pedestrian traffic, especially during winter, and should be corrected to prevent liability issues.

Waste Management Truck driver smashed my barrel into a tree, knocked branch off tree on sidewalk, and kept driving. Branch is now lying in gutter obstructing vehicle parking spaces. Also, same driver leaving barrels on the street. This type of reckless behavior creates a clear and present danger to public health and welfare and should be addressed.
