    The ploughs went over Crest once on Friday night. They haven't returned and this morning there's a nice sheet of ice that arrived with the precipitation. I guess clearing snow is not a public safety issue, even though school buses regularly put this street. Also, owing to slauson Hill sledding, there's a lot of traffic on this street. I guess nothing matters, maybe it's just that "We're incompetent!"

    Jackson road has a lot of ice everywhere. This is particularly bad around the entrances to I94, where cars change lanes and skid on the ice.

    No ploughing in Crest street today, and this is supposed to be a school bus route.

    The walk signal on the west side of the street is not working properly. This seems to happen whenever things get to the colder times of the year; it happened last year as well. Many times cars don't stop unless this signal is active even when there are small kids wanting to cross. Could a more permanent solution be adopted?

    Street cleaning came by today unannounced so only half the street got cleaned. As Crest is in one of the older residential neighborhoods, many cars are parked on the street. Without giving prior notice of planned street cleaning, the result will continue to be ineffective. Either set a fixed day so that people can plan or announce it. Extremely ineffective and inefficient use of public resources.

    Extremely uneven sidewalk (223 crest) causes lots of accumulation of rain water. City fixed nearby patch of neighbors (219 crest) that makes more water come to an existing low patch and makes the accumulation much greater.

    Trip hazard by the farmer's market due to extremely uneven kerb. My pregnant wife tripped and fell there today. Apparently the vendors have been asking for this to be fixed for a very long time now. It doesn't take much but some will and concern to shave it down to make it even. Please address this pronto.

    Street cleaning was attempted at 7:20am this past week on Crest st. No prior announcements were made so given the time, many cars were on the street. Thus every part of the street didn't get cleaned. It might be a better idea to announce the street cleaning, say on SeeClickFix or NextDoor, and choose a better time so that it's more effective.

    The light opposite to 219, so closest to our house, has burnt out for at least a week or so.
