The construction yard that is supporting the new firehouse on Grand is directly behind our house. Over the last few weeks, the workers have piled up a couple of large mounds of dirt-- probably 20+ feet high. During this week's rains, that dirt liquified and flooded the interior of the building at the back of our lot, which is used as a storage space, with mud and muddy water. There is considerable flood damage, including the interior walls which will need to be replaced. Additionally, a piece of equipment or vehicle bumped into the exterior wall and poked a hole in it.
