  • Hidden Cove Park Decatur, Georgia - Decatur
Trees fell in the park many months ago and have not been removed. Your last reply you said that the tree was not a hazard and would not be removed. However a few days ago the trees were red taped and marked dangerous. Does this mean the City will now remove them?

  • 224 Harold Byrd Drive South Decatur, Georgia - Decatur
Issue ID: 3136443 reported on Jan. 7. However, the fallen tree remains and is now a "play item" for kids. Has anyone been able to determine that the trees that fell are harmless and can remain strewn across the park and stream indefinitely? Thank you

310 Kathryn Avenue Decatur, Georgia - Decatur
Am abandoned RV is parked at the intersection of Chelsea and Kathyrn streets. It has been there for months. The owner does not live in the neighborhood. Vehicle is ugly and not working as neighbors saw it being parked in the spot by a tow truck . Police have tagged it once or twice, yet it remains. It is a neighborhood eyesore and dangerous to the many pedestrians heading back and forth to the Y, the retail areas and to Westchester School. The neighborhood is in agreement about the need for it to be removed. The owner who lives in apartments off of Coventry claims the right to have it parked on any city street for any amount of time.

Large tree fell on January6 in Hidden Cove Park across creek and path to Westchester
School. It appears to have fallen in the area where City workers were seen working on yesterday morning.
