    Please do something asap about the problematic crosswalk at Huron and 7th. I just saw a terrified Slauson girl unable to cross when she had the walk sign because cars making a westbound left turn onto Huron were paying no attention the crosswalk. This is a deadly accident waiting to happen. I am shocked that the city has done nothing about this crosswalk, considering that many children cross every day.

    The workers from DTE put temporary patches on our sidewalks and one in front of 304 has sunken dangerously. I have put a plastic chair over it so that no one falls, but could you please bring cones and a board--or a more permanent fix? thanks

    The maple trees on the verge/easement in front of 308 Maple Ridge and 306 Maple Ridge need to be trimmed by the city. A large branch fell while our kids were playing out front, and there are some larger, dangerous-looking branches that will come down soon. thank you

    Today I have observed two vehicles trying to turn from Seventh onto willow and sliding backwards into Seventh. This is extremely hazardous! The city needs to salt/plow Willow (and Maple Ridge--just a half an hour ago, someone who lives on Bath and who couldn't drive up Bath because it's not been plowed, got stuck on maple ridge trying to get close to home. A bunch of people finally were able to push his vehicle out.

    My neighbors and I have complained about this many times over the years--cars speed horribly down our short street (25 MPH speed limit) every morning and sometimes in after-work hours in order to avoid the light at 7th and Miller. We have moved to the south end of the street over the summer, and pulling out of the driveway every morning is cause for terror. I am convinced that at some point there will be a tragedy here if the city continues to do nothing about this. Traffic officers who have checked the problem in the past, have both been visible to drivers (so they slow down) or come here at off-hour times. Thank you for your attention to this issue
